How to watch the Jets vs Colts game online

Could there be a quarterback controversy in New York after last week’s win? We’ll find out more shortly as the New York Jets (2-5) take on the Indianapolis Colts (3-5) on national television for Thursday Night Football.

In one of the biggest upheavals of the season, the Jets beat AFC No.1 seed the Cincinnati Bengals last week in a 34-31 thriller. Late 11 at the end of the 4th quarter, Mike White (playing in place of injured rookie Zach Wilson) led two touchdowns to seal the victory. With over 400 passing yards and three touchdowns, Jets fans are already clamoring for the Whites to take the starting spot to move forward. The solid defense of the Colts will be a good test for him Thursday night.

The Colts were on the other side of a game with the same score, losing 31-34 to the Titans in overtime. Quarterback Carson Wentz made a few questionable decisions late, including a left hand pass from his own end zone that resulted in a pick-6. Can the Jets force Wentz and the Colts to make worse decisions? Or will the Colts’ defense bring Mike White back to earth?

How to stream Jets vs Colts

To open Week 9 of the NFL season, the Jets travel to Indianapolis to face the Colts on Thursday Night Football (TNF). Like all TNF games, the Jets-Colts game will air simultaneously on FOX and the NFL Network. If you have cable TV, just tune into your local FOX WXXA station here in Albany and you can watch it. Some cable TV plans also include the NFL network, so you should be covered. But if you don’t have cable, you can just use a digital TV antenna instead and you can watch the game on FOX.

Without cable TV or an antenna, there are a few other easy ways to watch Thursday’s game, including:

In addition to the options above, another great way to watch the Jets game this week (and every other week) is on a streaming service with live TV. An alternative to cable, streaming services have all local channels, and many even include ESPN and NFL Network so you never miss a game again. On top of all that, most of the top services also include a library full of movies and TV shows, which makes them even better than any cable TV package.

But as an NFL fan, you want to make sure you’re getting the right streaming service – one that will get you to watch as much football as possible. Here are the best options, including free trials and monthly pricing:

  • Hulu + Live TV, 7 days free, $ 54.99 / month for the first 3 months, then $ 64.99 / month after

  • Sling Orange or Sling Blue, $ 10 for the first month, then $ 35 / month (Sling Blue includes the NFL network, not Orange!)

  • fuboTV, 7 days free, $ 64.99 / month

  • YouTube TV, 14 days free for up to 6 accounts (offer ends 11/15), then $ 64.99 / month after

Even though this week’s Jets game airs on national television, most of them aren’t. So if you don’t live in the area, you won’t be able to log in. That is, unless you buy the NFL Sunday Ticket. By using NFL Sunday Ticket, you can watch the Jets play every week, no matter where or with whom they are playing. Plus, you can watch every NFL game every week no matter who you’re cheering on. No other service offers NFL fans more football than this!
