It’s official: the Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals are heading to the superbowlwhich should attract a lot of starry spectators. The big game will take place on Sunday February 13 at Sofia Stadium in Inglewood, California, and although this is the home arena for the Rams, they will be the away team for Super Bowl LVI.

Since the AFC and NFC retired as home and away teams for the even and odd Super Bowls, respectively, the Bengals will be the Super Bowl home team despite originating from Cincinnati, not Los Angeles.

Rams defeated the San Francisco 49ers 20-17 in the NFC Championship Game, while the Bengals off hook the Kansas City Chiefs 27-24 in the AFC Championship. The two championship winners last met in 2019, when the Rams beat the Bengals.

Super Bowl LVI: date, time, where to watch

Super Bowl LVI will air on NBC. The game will begin on February 13 at 3:30 p.m. PT / 6:30 p.m. ET. This will be the first Super Bowl to be held at SoFi Stadium.
