Xiaomi’s MIUI v10.3.5.0 update recently brought a standalone Game Turbo system app in the Poco F1 smartphone. Now the update will be introduced on the Redmi Note 7 Pro which will bring the same mode to the device. The Game Turbo will allow users to swipe the drop-down tray and perform a few activities such as clear memory, record screen, enable Wi-Fi or take a screenshot. The mode will allow them to open apps on a small screen while simultaneously playing a game to avoid missing an important message. It will further increase the GPU and CPU performance of Redmi Note 7 Pro for smooth gaming experience.

But unfortunately, Indian users will get the update a bit later as the Chinese phone maker planned to roll out the MIUI update in its home market China first. The company announced the arrival of the update in the Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphone through its official Weibo account. The update could be released via over-the-air.

The Note 7 Pro will notably be the second smartphone to receive such an update, the popular Poco F1 having already received the Game Turbo mode.

In a pool of other smartphones, the Redmi Note 7 Pro is also confirmed to get the upcoming Android Q OS by the first quarter of 2020.

As a reminder, the phone was launched earlier this year. It comes with a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC. For optics, the phone features dual 48-megapixel and 5-megapixel rear camera sensors with electronic image stabilization. image (EIS) and LED flash. On the front, the phone boasts of a 12-megapixel sensor. Moreover, it has a battery capacity of 4000 mAh with support for Quick Charge 4.0.
